1899 - The Building Trades Pocketbook

A beautiful copy of The Building Trades Pocketbook from 1899. This nifty little black book with gorgeous gold lettering and crest was used by many to learn a new skill to better their and their family’s lives by upgrading their career! It is like Udemy but in 1899! The spine is very tight, this book can easily be handled and read with no problem whatsoever, you will not find a better copy of this book. This copy belonged to G.H. Wheeler who was a decorated war veteran. There are tons of really cool testimonials in the back of the book (one is pictured) where people supposedly grew their salary by a whopping $500 in a year thanks to this book or another where the teacher was earning $30 but now earns $100 thanks to the skills afforded them by reading this little book. It is a MUST HAVE for not only rare and vintage book collectors but also a great gift for anyone in the building trade (carpenters, plumbers, etc.).
