Mud-dyed Oshima Tsumugi Silk Fabric
This was purchased by my mother about 30 years ago for her daughters. It seems it was intended as part of a trousseau. It's a supple tsumugi and is likely comfortable to wear. Ultimately, it was never made into a garment.
Unfortunately, there are two weaving flaws, as shown in photos 8 and 9.
There may be other flaws that I have missed.
It should have been a good quality item...
Considering these factors, I have set the price accordingly.
