Traveling Man Treasures is selling this hard to find vintage official Metropolitan Museum of Art replica of an ancient Egyptian limestone relief plaque depicting the goddesses Wadjet (cobra) and Nekhbet (vulture).
In this fragment, two important deities of upper & lower Egypt (Nekhbet & Wadjet) are resting on two wicker baskets and this configuration can be translated as 'Nebtj' - the 'Two Ladies'.
The original artifact dates from the Late Period to the Ptolemaic Period (around 400-30 B.C.
