This is a fun little sign I made. I started with a basswood oval with the bark on it, and then drew the design, wood burned it (freehand) and then painted with some acrylic paint for accents. I like to make art that I like and this one I was just thinking how lucky and important it is to have a ‘Me and You’ in life. I’ve been married for almost 30 years now, and that journey started with a simple meeting. Anyway, I finished this sign with some danish oil natural color. I added the wire hanger for easy hanging, and I also put a picture hanger on the back if you want to use that instead.
