Korean actor Park Bo-gum is promoting the appeal of men's Hanbok to the world. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft & Design Foundation unveiled Park Bo-gum's Hanbok, created for the "2025 Hanbok Wave" project on October 2nd.
"Hanbok Wave" is a project where outstanding Hanbok designers collaborate with Hallyu artists to develop Hanbok that blends tradition and modern sensibilities, introducing them to the world stage. Previously, Kim Yuna (former figure skater) in 2022, Suzy (singer and actress) in 2023, and Kim Tae-ri (actress) in 2024 served as models. This year, for the first time, the focus is on men's Hanbok, with Park Bo-gum as the sole model.
Park Bo-gum collaborated with four Korean designers selected through public recruitment from the planning stage, creating works that combine traditional beauty and modern sensibilities.
