Dufex printing was a process developed by FJ Warren in early 20th century and involves printing images onto aluminum foil lined paper using UV formulated transparent inks which allow reflective shine to be retained. Engraving techniques are then used to add a range of light reflective textures to foil. The results are stunning!
Approximate size of picture- 6 1/4” x 8 1/4” There are small scratches on this print - I got the best photos I could, but because of the way light reflects it, it was hard to get a really good picture. The first photo was found on the internet. It is surrounded by the original cardboard frame it was purchased with. It was hung in a home office wall with a push pin.
